Happy LOVE Day!

This Valentine's Day we decided to be casual and have a family day. Rob and I went on a date the night before so that we could spend time with the kids. We woke up and decided to make Valentines and cookies and take them around to some of the fam.
Kyson loved decorating the cookies.
Camree on the other hand just wanted to eat her cookie. So we gave her a cookie, let her decorate it and then eat it.
Our first stop was Grandma Leah. Kyson and Camree love their GiGi (great grandma).
Next we were off to Grandma and Grandpa Featherstone's. They were so excited that we thought of them and the kids were excited to see them too.
Auntie Suzie was next. They love her and Camree especially loves her belly with her new little cousin in it. We also gave Valentines to Neema and Papa and Aunt Mikelle. We just forgot to take pictures.
Camree looked so cute in her Valentines outfit.
Daddy and Kyson gave Mommy and Camree Flowers. I was so glad that Rob included Camree in getting flowers and Kyson in giving them. He does such good job at teaching Kyson how to treat a girl right.
Our handsome boys.
I am so thankful for my Valentine. After almost 10 years we are still in love, happy, and our love has grown with two beautiful children. What more can a girl ask for.

The Green Bus is Here

On Tuesday I got to go and volunteer at the Draper Temple open house. I was stationed at the shuttle bus tent where people would wait for the bus after they had finished the tour. The good thing about being in the tent was that I got to be with my friend Lindsey and we could talk and not have to be quiet. The bad thing is that we were outside most of the time and it was FREEZING! After about 2 1/2 hours our feet were frozen and numb! Luckily the guys that were inside the church came and switched us spots so that we could be inside. It was still really cold but wasn't as bad as inside the tent. We got to hold up these signs and let people know which bus was here.
After we were crazy enough to stay and clean the Temple with two of our young women, Hannah and Bethany. Our young women president Korie brought us Cafe Rio and the girls to meet us. We scarfed down our food changed our clothes and headed off to clean the Temple from 10:00 to midnight!
All done! Cleaning the Temple was soo much fun. We got to clean the 1st floor. I got to be the garbage girl, Lindsey and Bethany dusted and Hannah cleaned the mirrors. The best part was after we were finished we got to go and wonder around the Temple. Where ever we wanted to go we went!
It was a long night 4 to 12:30p.m. but it was so worth it, even if it did take until the next morning to warm up again! It must have been so late that the top half of the Temple lights were off! Ha! I am so glad that I was able to have this opportunity.

Time for another sLeEpOvEr!

Last Saturday Chris and Breanne had Kyson and Camree sleepover. You heard me right Camree too! I told them that they were crazy but they insisted that she come too. She ended up sleeping all night and it was Kyson that woke them up a couple of times. They even kept them on Sunday and took them to church with them so that we could enjoy ours. It was a little weird being able to pay attention in church without any interruptions. It was nice but I actually missed the craziness and couldn't wait to pick up my kids! Kyson and Camree had a great time and I think Chris and Breanne did too. They just needed a nap after! Thanks guys for being such a great Auntie and Uncle, Kyson and Canree love you!

I Love to See the Temple

Last Friday night we finally got to go to the Draper Temple open house. Our cousins ended up inviting us to go with them. We were excited because our tickets weren't until march. Kyson loved the temple. As we drove up and Kyson saw the Temple he said,"Look Mom there is a giant trophy on top." He was so interested in everything and kept pointing out pictures of Jesus. When we came to the baptisimal font he said,"That is so cool it is like a giant hot tub on horses!" So sweet and innocent. Camree on the other hand was a little stinker! She wanted to walk but she would try and wander off so then we would pick her up which would cause her to scream No! Let's just say that right at the end of the tour we asked one of the ushers how close we were to the end because we were ready to leave and Camree had had it! Lucky for us we only had five more minutes. Rob ended up saying,"I never knew there could be hell in heaven!" Oh we were laughing, that's life with kids. Even though it didn't go as smooth as we would have liked I was so glad that we were able to be there together as a family! Thanks Adam and Emily for the invite!
We are so excited to have this new Temple so close.

New Beginnings All-stars Yea!

Last Wednesday we had New Beginnings. Can I just scream yea, now that it is over! Any one else in YW knows what I am talking about. This year we had an NBA theme. We copied my Moms ward. It is so nice to be able to share ideas. It was so much fun and the girls loved it.
The cheerLEADERS, Kristen, Holly, Korie, Lindsey and me. We all dressed up as cheerleaders and we even did a cheer, with a stunt might I add. You should all be laughing because it was pretty comical! Suzanne and Teri couldn't be there that night and we definitely missed them.
We had hot dogs, nachos, grapes, popcorn and ice cream sandwiches for dessert. We tried to stick with the typical concession foods.
Hannah sang the National Anthem for our opening song.We had eight tables decorated in all the different value colors. They turned out pretty cute.
The night was a lot of work but was so much fun. I am so glad that I get to serve with these girls they make it so much fun!(I couldn't put ladies that sounds to old!) So to anyone out there that hasn't done New Beginnings here is a great idea!

Pretty Girl!

Ever since Camree was born I have always put bows or flowers in her hair. Because of that both Kyson and Camree think that she is not ready unless she has one in her hair. So the other day Kyson told me that he was going to make Camree look really pretty and put a bow in her hair. This is how she turned out. I guess the more bows and flowers you have in your hair the prettier you are!
The total came in at 10! I was surprised she sat still long enough to let Kyson put them all in!
The end product=One pretty girl and one proud big brother!

SuZiEs FaMiLy ShOwEr

A week ago Saturday we had a family shower for Suzie at my house. We invited close friends and family. Suzie had so much support. Thanks everyone for coming!
Kira and JoAnne helped plan the shower. Here Kira is showing all of the items that were under the blanket for the memorization game. We also had a game to see who could guess what baby food was what.
The CHEATERS, Jill, Melinda, and Wendy! These three decided to split all of the items under the blanket into three sections and then share each section with each other. What do you know they remembered all 13 items. Too bad they are cheaters so they didn't get the prize!
Suzie with all of her presents. She ended up getting the rest of the the major necessities she needed. We are all ready for little Missy to arrive!
Mom, Suzie and Grandma Gay. Camree giving the baby a hug. Every time she sees Suzie she gives the baby loves.
Now it's time for a kiss. Camree is going to love this baby girl. Soon she will have a real live doll!

Parking anyone?

Since we live in the Draper Temple district our stake has been asked to help with the open house. Two weeks ago Rob volunteered to help and was asked to help show people where to park. I figured that this is something that doesn't happen every day, so the kids and I drove up to the Temple to take some pictures and say hi to Dad. Rob was thrilled!
I tried to get him to point at me where to park for a picture but he didn't appreciate that! You have got to love a man in uniform even if it is only an orange vest with the Temple in the back ground!
Daddy saying hi to the kids. I am so glad that we drove up there. It got Kyson so excited to go and see the inside of Temple. We haven't been to the open house yet, but we are going soon and are so excited to have this new Temple right in our backyard!
