I am not Tired!

Ok so I know that I shouldn't be complaining but Kyson is starting to really fight taking naps. I know that he is 4 1/2 but I swear he still needs them. If he doesn't take a nap then he will fall asleep at like 5 and sometimes he won't even wake up to eat and will sleep the rest of the night. I tell him everyday that it is time to take a nap and he tells me "I am not tired!" Well I have stopped fighting him and tell him that he has to have quiet time and lay on the couch and watch a movie. This is usually what happens, he crashes on the couch. So he is not napping in his bed anymore but I have tricked him into taking a nap on the couch when he is not tired! Hopefully this will last for awhile. I am hanging on to the nap thing for as long as I can!

No More Sleeps!

About a month ago Mimi and Papa came in town to visit! The kids were so excited. Every time they come we are always counting down the sleeps until they get here! On Saturday Mimi, Papa and uncle Jr got to come and watch Kyson play soccer. It was a COLD one but we all bundled up and tried to stay warm.

Mimi definitely missed the good warm Arizona weather. Good thing Camree wouldn't leave her lap and kept her warm

After the soccer game we were supposed to go to the tulip festival but we decided it was too cold and went to Cabela's instead. The kids loved looking at all of the animals.
Kyson loved this big polar bear. Camree on the other hand wasn't so sure. She wouldn't even take her eyes off him for a picture, he might come and snatch her! Such a girl!
That night it was bath time. My kids love to take baths. Their new favorite thing is to make funny hair do's with the shampoo in their hair. They each take a turn styling each others hair.

On Sunday Camree got to open birthday presents from Mimi and Papa because they wouldn't be here for her birthday.
After, they played with one of her new presents, the matching princess game. They are also sucking on a treat. If you get a present from Mimi you will probably get a treat. She is the treat queen!
Monday warmed up enough to go and see the tulip festival. We were sad though because uncle Jr and Dad had to go to work and couldn't come with us. We still had a good time and the tulips were beautiful! Tulips are one of my favorite flowers.

Leaving the Secret Garden. This is Kyson's favorite thing there. He likes anything that is "sneaky" as he would say.

Of course we had to smell the flowers too.

We decided to take a rest in front of the waterfall. I love this picture of the four of them.
Kyson saw this tree and said,"Look Mom this looks just like lightning." He is such a creative little boy just like his Daddy.

By now the kids were tired of me taking pictures so they decided to hide behind the flowers. It actually made for some really cute pictures.

After that we headed over to farm country. My kids love animals so they love to go there.
Mimi taught Kyson that baby cows have no teeth and told him that if he stuck his hand in his mouth he would suck on it. He sure sucked! Kyson laughed and laughed he thought it was great!

It's time for a pony ride.

The kids had so much fun with Mimi and Papa in town and didn't want them to leave. They are so lucky to have such good grandparents! Thanks Mimi and Papa for the visit. We love you!

Field Trip to Wheeler Farm

About three weeks ago Kyson got to go on a field trip with his preschool to Wheeler Farm. My kids love it there so they were excited to go and see the animals. First they feed the ducks and geese.

It was so fun to go this time of year because all of the babies are born in the spring. They tried to get as close as they could to these baby calf's.
The night before we were talking and I told Kyson that he might be able to milk the cow(back when I was little we got to). He asked where you milk the cow and I said,"The cow's teet." That day when he saw the cows he said,"Mom do I get to milk the cow's tweet?" So there you have it a picture of a cow's "tweet"! He kept telling all of his friends,"Look there is the cow's tweet." I am still laughing about that one.

Kyson wasn't too happy in this picture because he just got done with time out for running away without Mom. I had to put it up though because I think that blue eyed face is to die for!
So is this little face! I am not partial at all am I?
Kyson loved this tree! It was awesome for the boys to climb around on. Of all the times we have been there we had never been to this tree. It was a great new discovery!

Even Camree tried to crawl around on it. She wasn't quite a successful as her brother.Instead she loved to play in this little house that was right next to the tree. She kept telling me,"Watch my splits." So apparently her new trick is the splits. I don't know where she got that from because I'm sure as heck not walking around doing the splits anymore!

The kids had a blast and I did too because there are so many fabulous places to take pictures! Too bad I am not a professional.

My Little Cheerleader

Ok so after everyone saw Camree's tutu at the first soccer game, we decided that we needed to make all of the little sisters matching tutu's. We got together, had a girls night and this is what we ended up with! I think they ended up way too cute!
We made matching bows too.
I was so busy trying to get cute pictures of Camree in her tutu that this was the only picture I ended up taking of Kyson playing soccer.

I had to get a picture of her sitting on Daddy's lap because that is where she wants to be 24-7! She is such a Daddy's girl! I am surprised he can still coach with her around. He must be one good Daddy!
