We Love to See the Temple

This last Sunday it was Stake Conference and we "accidentally" slept in. I know I am so bad but two hours of sacrament with three little kids is my worst nightmare! Anyway, we were feeling guilty so we decided it would be a great time to go and see the Salt Lake Temple. We called the Crooks to see if they were in and headed off to Temple Square. Jr was at work so we called him and he came and met us too. The weather couldn't have been more perfect and the tulips were beautiful!

We walked across the street to the Conference Center and they were doing tours so we decided to go on one to the top.

The kids had such a good time and so did we. We love to see the Temple!
Rob was leaving out of town the next day and was going to be gone on Camree's Birthday so we let her open her presents when we got home before he left.

Kyson gave her a Little Mermaid Polly Pocket set and we gave her a Madame Alexander doll. She was so excited! Her favorite thing to play right now is dolls. She will sit in her room for hours and pull out every single doll to play with. She can't just play with one or two it has to be all of them! It is pretty cute, she is going to be a great Mommy some day!

Soccer Saturdays

So far we have lucked out this season and the kids games have only overlapped by 15 mins. The only bad thing is that our whole morning is full of soccer. We go from one game straight to the other. The weather has been pretty warm so I don't mind enjoying it. Kyson is starting to get used to the positions and is starting to play aggressive again. He still isn't as aggressive as last year but hopefully that will come with time. The girls love to come and watch their brother. Camree especially likes it because she gets to see Damon her crush! Yes she is only 4 and is already boy crazy! I am in trouble.

Camree still could care less about the soccer game and just loves being with her friends! I finally had to bribe her to kick the ball. So now she kicks the ball once and then looks over at me with a big smile on her face like,"Did you see that Mom?" It is too cute! Love my kids and love watching them have fun playing soccer!

Happy Easter

The kids couldn't wait for the Easter Bunny to come this year. The Easter Bunny doesn't bring much just a few things in their baskets and then fills our plastic eggs with candy and leaves them all over the house. Kyson got his first BB/air soft gun, Camree got a set of Polly Pockets, Presley got a bubble machine and they all got too much candy.

I guess max has been naughty because the Easter Bunny didn't bring him anything!

One of my favorite things on Easter is dressing them up for Easter Sunday. I love how cute they all look matching and they can always use some new church clothes.

Most of all I am grateful for the true meaning of Easter. I am so grateful for the Atonement in my life and that my kids are starting to be able to understand it. Happy Easter!

Easter Eggs

This year it was only Ky and I dying Easter eggs because Camree and Dad fell asleep. I tried to talk Kyson into doing it the next day but we had already put it off a couple of times so he wasn't going to have it! This year I found Dye that comes with holders that aren't supposed to spill. They worked pretty good but they did spill a little bit. I am kind of glad the other two fell asleep it was nice to be able to have some time just the two of us!

Soccer

Both kids started Soccer this month. Some how I didn't get any pictures of Kyson's first game. This year Kyson has moved to the bigger field and they are starting to learn positions including having a goalie. Kyson isn't a fan of playing positions but I am sure as soon as he learns them he will like it better. Camree decided she wanted to play soccer again as soon as she knew all of her friend were. It is totally a social thing for her, she could care less about the actual game. Looks like all Spring our Saturdays are going to be full of soccer games. Let's hope it is a warm one!
